Animal - Domestic
Reported Friday, 12 January 2024 at 9:24 pm, 83 Rue Jolie, Akaroa 7520, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Dog off leash and running around on the beach during summer prohibition period. It belongs to the Tini Gin bar there and I took it up and asked them to keep it off the beach even just for 30 minutes so my kids could swim without it hounding them (it was super friendly but my daughter was scared) but they were reluctant and let it back down unsupervised five mins later. It then urinated on the sand and continued to run unhindered. Apparently this is common here, according to others at the beach.
