Wastewater/Stormwater
Reported Wednesday, 2 May 2018 at 9:04 am, 95, Bealey Avenue, Christchurch, 8013, Canterbury.
The reporter’s words
We have owned the property for approx 18months. Over this last year it has started flooding, consistently even though It hasn’t been raining. I though it may just be run off as from neighbours as everyone has built up around the property. However just recently I discovers this square concert sump looking thing. I have pumped it out and it been filling up and over flowing. The man hole is approx 700x700 which leads into a large 2m2 concrete tank. Our drain layer doesn’t know what it is, I ordered the drainage plans and doesn’t appear to be on there either. Concrete doesn’t look that old. Hoping you can shed some light as to what it is. Cheers
