Park - General Request
Reported Tuesday, 6 February 2024 at 3:26 pm, 2 Stilt Lane, Southshore, Christchurch 8062, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
This is the burial site of the second whale. The burial site has been left in a disgusting state. Can the public walkway beside the grave be cleared of all the sand, so people can once again walk on it. could the burial site be cleared of rubbish and made to look respectable so the whale can have some dignity. There needs to be a suitable fence around the site with a narrative board informing the public the the whale is buried there.
