Pavement - Damaged
Reported Friday, 8 March 2024 at 8:08 am, 148 Hawthornden Road, Hyde Park, Christchurch 8042, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
I’ve noticed the fresh maintenance/repair markings on the footpath entrance to Avonhead Park. (The damage is from tree roots) I’m concerned the markings stop at the line of the gateway, despite the fact that the damage extends a similar distance into the park. It suggests some arbitrary demarcation and only half the continuous stretch of damaged path is going to be repaired. It would obviously be very inefficient to treat this as two separate jobs (Parks v Footpaths?) Surely not?!?
