The reporter’s words

This footpath was recently repaired. One side has sunk which now creates an unsafe path. It is the only path available on this road and the standard of workmanship is unacceptable given it was a complete rebuild. How can this have been let through the council inspection process? There is a similar situation further down the road where due to poor design and workmanship we have a substandard footpath. If this was in fendalton it would have been rectified but it appears there are differing standards. This should be rectified before someone turns an ankle Barry Mclauchlan
