The reporter’s words
My complaint is about the beggar/sweeper positioned near Antigua boat sheds. I am a cyclist & on a number of occasions I have had to swerve to avoid this man sweeping what is a busy cycle & pedestrian thoroughfare. Today he actually abused me when he walked out in front of me & didn't even look to see if any cyclists were coming!!! As there was a pedestrian coming in the opposite direction, I had to pass behind this man, which was at the same time he turned & started sweeping, right in my path!
