Rubbish and Bins - General

The reporter’s words
~7:40am I observed a WasteCo employee empty the entire contents of the recycling bin into the rubbish bin before removing the rubbish bag and replacing it with an empty one. I recognise the need to keep recycling free of non-recyclable contaminants, but the swift and heedless manner in which he transferred everything to the rubbish leads me to doubt the likelihood of this in the present case. I find this concerning both as a CCC ratepayer and somebody with reasonable environmental conscience.
