Bus Shelter Issue
Reported Wednesday, 19 June 2024 at 9:49 pm, New Brighton Rd near Horseshoe Lake Rd, Canterbury 8061, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
At this bus shelter, there is insufficient lighting for the bus driver to see people wanting to get on the bus. As this is a bend, the driver, nor the passenger has much time to recognise each other, especially at night. I recently saw someone signalling the bus driver, but the bus driver did not see the passenger, leaving them for another half an hour. Hopefully, a street light can be reoriented to light up the bus stop. If there is a street light there already, it needs to be brighter.
