Roading/Streets
Reported Thursday, 6 September 2018 at 5:40 pm, 335, Manchester Street, Christchurch, 8013, Canterbury.
The reporter’s words
Hi, The neighbouring development recently reinstated footpath on completion of construction works. Unfortunately the have asphalted over the yellow lines which used to be there in addition to creating a hump which stops stormwater draining into the network. My neighbours have now started parking where the yellow lines used to be, causing a very severe safety issue in terms of sight lines. I rang last week to report this. It’s starting to become a serious issue as I am unable to see traffic, particularly cyclists.
