Trees - General
Reported Sunday, 1 September 2024 at 3:11 pm, 287 Waimairi Road, Ilam, Christchurch 8041, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Hello. 287 Waimairi Road has two large camellia trees that keep dropping flowers on the footpath. There are masses of flowers on the footpath at present. These become extremely slippery when wet. We have many older residents that live in the area to which these are a trip hazard. As 287 have not done anything about this (or trimmed their overhanging trees causing the hazard), can you please remind them of their obligation to keep the footpath free from obstruction? Thank you very much.
