The reporter’s words

The footpath outside our house has been deteriorating for years. The last time it was replaced, no wooden borders were installed, and as a result, the path has continued to crack and crumble away. At the time of the last replacement, I was told the wooden borders could be installed if I paid for them! Our piece of pavement was the only piece not to have the borders installed. There are contractors working on footpaths in Condell Ave at present. It would be a good time to fix this damage.
