Reported Tuesday, 24 September 2024 at 2:58 pm, 23 Hercules Street, Shirley, Christchurch 8013, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
At the intersection of Hercules Street and Hope Street the road surface is deteriorating. There is potholes, loose chunks of tarmac and lots of loose gravel. Traffic is increasing on the street, with the development of apartment blocks. Heavy traffic involved in the building in the area are contributing to the issue. It is an issue for cyclists, and causes flooding when in rains.
