Facility - General Request
Reported Tuesday, 8 October 2024 at 9:50 am, Naval Point, Lyttelton 8082, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
The gate on the Naval Point boat ramp jetty is too long, and it sticks out and and has loose wire hanging off it. This presents a hazard to boaters - strike risk for boats, and injury to people, especially at low tide. Suggest a smaller gate be installed, one that matches the width of the jetty, so that it sits square and flush with the jetty with no loose bits sticking out.
