The reporter’s words

Building site activity has encroached on the footpath and cracked the surface. This makes it very difficult to navigate for the local people in wheelchairs who use this footpath daily. It is even worse on weekdays when a ute has been parking on the berm and footpath. Do developers have a responsibility to ensure accessibility is maintained? The issue for our street is that this has happened several times with so many new builds.
