Reported Monday, 21 October 2024 at 5:16 pm, 36 Westlake Drive, Halswell, Christchurch 8025, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
The hole in the middle of the footpath is now so large - 7cm (photo 1) that any child’s scooter wheel that hits this will result in injury to the child. This hole is in the middle of a long crack, that has the potential to snare any child’s scooter wheel. This footpath is a major route to and from school for many children, as well as being used recreationally by people of all ages and infirmities. Please see to this as a matter of urgency before someone gets hurt.
