Overgrown Vegetation
Reported Tuesday, 5 November 2024 at 5:34 pm, 2 Simeon Quay, Lyttelton 8082, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Location is the Lyttelton pumping station near the Lyttelton Tunnel entrance/exit. It was previously the war memorial site and had well tended lawns and plantings. Since it became a utility, it has become unkempt. Replacement plantings have died. I'm saddended by the lack of maintenance of planted, green areas and roadsides in our community. A disgrace for tourists passing in busses from cruise ships. Please clean this up and maintain our roadsides to Christchurch standards.
