Overgrown Vegetation
Reported Saturday, 7 December 2024 at 4:05 pm, Cashmere Village Green 66B Dyers Pass Road, Cashmere, Christchurch 8022, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
The Cashmere Village Green was once a proud community asset. The establishment of the play area with native planting was a much debated issue in about 2001. CCC undertook, when it selected the low key play equipment (a single slide) with paths and planting (over a modern playground) that it would maintain and enhance the area. Instead it is heavily overgrown with saplings, paths are inaccessible with tree I overgrowth , it is a complete mess and barely used. Please can it be tidied up?
