Roading/Streets
Reported Wednesday, 28 November 2018 at 2:48 pm, Watsons Lane, Lyttelton, 8082, Canterbury.
The reporter’s words
This is a photo of Watsons Lane (between Sumner Rd and Reserve Terrace). This public path leads tourists, and locals, from Lyttelton up to the newly rebuilt Timeball Station. The path is a mess, and hardly tourist friendly. Also, the trees are overgrown which makes the path dark at any time of day. The steps are often covered in mud and debris, a potential safety hazard. Is there a plan for upgrading this area? Thanks Claire
