The reporter’s words
The unicycle cycleway crossing on Kahu Road doesn't trigger if you just missed the crossing signals before you arrive at the lights (definitely when travelling towards uni, potentially in the Hagley Park direction also), and there's no beg button for cyclists, so you have to get off, walk over and use the pedestrian beg button or roll back over the detector. Call me if this doesn't make sense. It's been an issue for months/years.
