The reporter’s words

The cycle lane sensor in the alleyway does not work very well - probably about 50% of the time I ride over it, this one in particular doesn't activate the lights. There is no button to press on the cycleway side of the path so you kind of just have to ride across and hope you don't get hit. The road itself has a slope so it is difficult to gain momentum trying to cross without a light, and with a lot of traffic coming fast around corners it's very dangerous.
