Pest / Vermin
Reported Tuesday, 7 January 2025 at 7:41 am, FJFF+46 Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
The number of Canadian geese in the city is growing exponentially and is becoming a huge problem. I know there has been a cull in the Estuary recently but there needs to be at least one a month until numbers are under control and then a team of people searching out and destroying the nests. They are spoiling our waterways, Hagley Park paths are covered in poo and there is potentially a risk of bird strike. Please please do something about these pests.
