Park - General Request
Reported Sunday, 26 January 2025 at 4:20 pm, 224R Queen Elizabeth II Drive, Mairehau, Christchurch 8052, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
A suggestion. This berm on East Ellington Drive is very large. If there are no underground services, could it be planted in native plants (ideally with trees in the centre of the berm). I’m thinking planting would add more social value than a large section of grass that has to be continually mowed. Suggest leaving enough room for a future widening of path to a shared path standard. I’m more than happy to help with planting :-)
