Grass on the Avon River side of the Avonside Rd road-edge barrier is getting very long (some head height) and dry as it seeds. Location: Dallington Bridge to Ngarimu/Avonside Dr corner. Fire hazard plus seeding very heavily close to private properties. Please would it be possible to get the whippersnipper gang out? (Note: grass bank on other side of river is also very dry & long, but poses less immediate risk as not close to houses and gardens).
