Water Leak

The reporter’s words
This week husband had to turn off the water main outside our house which is located in the front foot path to change our dishwasher and noticed that our main water valve has a bit of a leak so the soil around it is always wet. It's not flooded but we would like someone to have a look at it. Water doesn't fully switch off as well even with the main closed. Don't want an emergency to happen to fix the problem. Kindly update me. Thanks
