Reported Sunday, 6 January 2019 at 6:26 pm, Waimairi Beach, 8083, Canterbury.
The reporter’s words
The new slide that was installed has a concrete pad at the bottom which extends out in front of the end of the slide. I managed to catch my son as he came down to stop him landing on this. Seriously disappointed with how this could even have been finished like this. Wouldn’t be hard for a child to land on this concrete and cause serious harm. How can this even be aloud or signed off as a complete job. Exposed concrete in a kids playground.
