The reporter’s words
The mosaic chair is a very beautiful and poignant quake memorial but there is no signage anywhere explaining that it is made from treasured china broken in the quakes, so its meaning is lost on many park visitors. How about an interpretive sign on the oak tree next to it? Thanks
