Traffic Signals
Reported Thursday, 27 February 2025 at 9:45 pm, 1 Matai Street East, Riccarton, Christchurch 8011, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
This intersection has pedestrian and bike lights that are not in sync. The pedestrian lights let you do half a road at a time. I have seen many near misses of people crossing or biking the whole road when they only have a green for half of it. I am worried someone may get seriously injured and saw another close call today. Dean ave between Hagley Park and Girls High.
