The reporter’s words

On Sunday someone cut a section of the bridge out that goes over the Otukaikino stream near the outlet to the Waimakariri river. They did it I think to make it easier to jump into the stream. There is also the wire rope and stump that is meant to preclude cars from the grassed area has been broken so cars were driving over it and parking on the grass.
