Traffic Signals
Reported Friday, 14 March 2025 at 4:23 pm, 241 Bealey Avenue, St Albans, Christchurch 8014, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Hi. The right turn arrows along Bealey Ave (to turn North) from Madras, to Sherbourne, and Colombo are terribly timed. There is only one green arrow phase to turn right (north), with almost 90s of red arrow. The phases of lights West along bealey ave create significant gaps of little or no traffic heading east where no red arrow would legally allow drivers to turn right (north). Please consider removing the red arrow after the initial green arrow phase and let give way rules apply.
