The reporter’s words

Apologies for using SSS but I reported this to Crimestoppers two months ago and it seems that so far no action has been taken. Perhaps CCC could exert some influence. Reports of crime in Beckenham are daily (Beckenham FB page): There are two vehicles parked almost permanently on Hunter Tce behind South Christchurch Library, and frequently occupied. I, and others in the neighbourhood, have seen suspicious activity, ie frequent visits from individuals and what would seem to be transactions - something handed to one vehicle, something collected from the other. Drug dealing, maybe. Vehicle registrations are TAI455 and XO8510. Btw, the latest incident of burglary was at the weekend just over Colombo St in Ashgrove Tce. Whether there is any connection or not, I don’t know of course. (Recently a young woman was also followed and spoken to by the driver of another vehicle at the library. This was followed up by the police) If the police don’t have resources to help, by bringing this to your attention I’m really hoping you may have power to remove the two mentioned vehicles, considered abandoned. Thanks so much. Katy
