Water General
Reported Sunday, 30 March 2025 at 1:05 pm, 164 Edgeware Rd, Canterbury, Christchurch 8013, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
St Albans Creek at 164 Edgeware Rd is heavily overgrown with grass, shrubs, and trees, some leaning into the waterway. This is impeding water flow and creates a serious flood risk to my and neighbouring properties. Council confirmed responsibility to clear vegetation when it obstructs stormwater flow. Please inspect and clear approx. 20m of the creek to prevent flooding.
