It’s atrocious the only fire advisory for a controlled burn that will last over three weeks is on Facebook. Considering the air quality at the moment, I’d say this type of risk to public health needs to have more extensive communication with the community. I’m disappointed the council has allowed such an extensive fire close to a community filled with young families and the elderly, especially considering the clear link that particulate matter has with asthma rates in children Do better.
