The reporter’s words

The guys in the Wai-Ora utes really churned up the lawn at the entrance to the park via the carpark. They were all sitting in their vehicles inside the park so was it really necessary to take the vehicles in and do this damage. They could walk. Many park users were complaining about the areas around the walkways. There were also tracks leading further onto the lawn/playing fields area. If it was a member of the public, this would be vandalism.
