The reporter’s words
This drain has been blocked between here and the next sump near Bampton St for several years. The other photo shows work on the sump outside the new units near the Palms. I assume they are connecting all their stormwater pipes into this drain. Currently this extra water will come out of the sump in photo 1. Perhaps its time to fix the blockage in the pipe between Netherby Lane & Bamptin St. to prevent even more flooding of driveways etc when it rains.
