Trees - General
Reported Friday, 29 August 2025 at 9:34 am, 56 Scarborough Road, Scarborough, Christchurch 8081, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Roadside vegetation here is largely boneseed and other invasive species which are a big seed source and have to be cleared from nearby reserves. Is it possible to get rid of these plants and substitute native trees or are they on private land? If so can the landowner be encouraged to replant with natives?
