The reporter’s words

Several vehicles have gone over this bank in the past two years. We have just purchased the property and have cleared the vegetation away so road users can see there is absolutely no shoulder to the road. The drop is steep and around 6 metres in part. It would be appropriate to install a barrier before someone gets seriously injured or killed. The road to Taylors mistake is busy and popular with walkers cyclists and car traffic. It is so narrow here that there is a significant chance of someone swerving to avoid other toad users and going over the edge.
