Pavement - General
Reported Saturday, 20 September 2025 at 4:11 pm, Avonside Dr, Canterbury, Christchurch 8011, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
We love what you’ve done with the first phase of the City to Sea Path to Dallington. But the north east corner of the Fitzgerald / Avonside traffic signals is impossible to manoeuvre a bicycle around on account of the signal pole and bridge deck width. I understand the intersection is due to be renewed with a proper crossing Someday but there needs to be a viable route from Kilmore to the path for the years while we wait. Moving the signal pole is likely the cheapest option.
