Traffic Signals
Reported Monday, 29 September 2025 at 8:20 am, 70 Fitzgerald Ave, Canterbury, Christchurch 8011, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
The timing on the right turning arrow has changed since the recent intersection upgrade, and is too short for traffic turning right into St Asaph St based on the volume of cars that use this intersection. It either needs to be lengthened, or become a “turn when the way is clear” (sorry not sure of correct terminology here) rather than have the arrow stay red for a full turn of the lights.
