Roading/Streets
Reported Monday, 20 May 2019 at 11:35 am, Ferry Road, Woolston, 8023, Canterbury.
The reporter’s words
We were walking across the a Ferrymead bridge this morning and saw the traffic management people putting the road cones up to block off one lane of the bridge. When speaking to the men I said “ not more road works “ to watch he said no cutting the flax bushes. As you can see they have all the access they need from the foot path. Has common sense gone from management in this Council. To have 5 trucks and 7 workers to cut back a small section of flaxes and to block off a lane to a busy bridge is PC gone mad. I am very happy for someone to ring me and explain their reasoning on why they think this is needed. Regards Ali McLauchlan
