The reporter’s words

The reserve, corner St James Ave and Windermere Rd was mown this morning by the CCC contractor. First time for many weeks and due to recent rain there were abundant masses of grass clippings. 1. The contractor decided to simply use his blower and blow these onto the road. Does he realise these will now end up in our drainage system and thus into our streams and rivers. Not a good outcome. More frequent mowing and better conditions are recommended. 2. East half of reserve was not mown? Why not??
