Roading/Streets
Reported Saturday, 1 June 2019 at 11:17 pm, 166, Bealey Avenue, Christchurch, 8013, Canterbury.
The reporter’s words
Traffic lights have been changed so the red arrow stays on through an entire phase. Often results in cars sitting at this intersection unnecessarily waiting when the east bound lane on bealey is empty. Used to be a red arrow at the start of the phase and then just go to a regular green light - we would love this setup back please so we don’t have to spend so much time waiting at the lights to turn into our street.
