Roading/Streets
Reported Sunday, 16 June 2019 at 12:19 pm, 248, Bridle Path Road, Ferrymead, 8022, Canterbury.
The reporter’s words
Ferrymead Drive entrance continues to be used as a 4WD race track. We continue to observe approx. dozen visits weekly by various vehicles a week with over half Friday/Saturday nights / small hours. This regularly wakes our family due to proximity. This is a public nuisance that needs to be addressed with the Woodhill Park plan currently being reviewed. We also understood the Ferrymead Park Road gate in picture would be closed each night by security. This has never happened since it was installed. One solution would be low timber bollard and wire as installed around a number of parks in the city.
