Park - General Request
Reported Monday, 15 December 2025 at 9:23 pm, 53R Hulverstone Drive, Avondale, Christchurch 8061, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
The path of the Avon Trail, a major tourist attraction And key resource for local dog walkers. It passes under this bridge state highway 74. The pathway is very muddy at low tide and flooded at high tide with about three inches of water. My contention is it needs about four inches of gravel dumped on it and that will stop people risking dangerous crossings over the high speed motorway.
