Traffic Signals
Reported Friday, 19 December 2025 at 9:49 am, 1/101/470 Barrington Street, Addington, Christchurch 8024, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Traffic light sequencing is broken. Issue affects traffic coming off the highway offramp heading across Barrington St to get to Spencer St. The left and right turning arrows come on but the straight through light stays red for another ~15 seconds. This means traffic backs up the offramp congesting the motorway.
