Trees - General
Reported Sunday, 11 January 2026 at 10:22 am, 32 Berwick St, Canterbury, Christchurch 8014, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Could the Council please do something about this overgrown Walnut tree that is creating a hazard for vehicles. It is a rental property at 32 Berwick Street. Walnuts are already falling unsafe for visually impaired pedestrians and damaging cars. This tree is over hanging the footpath and the road. Trucks have already snapped some of the branches off putting pedestrians in danger. I have asked before about Council doing something about this. Thanks.
