The reporter’s words

Very hazardous short section of Highsted road for pedestrians and cyclists remains after footpaths have been added during recent developments. Much busier due to Highsted and nearby subdivisions, but a 50m uncompleted section on a blind corner where vehicles often speed is an accident waiting to happen. A simple path along the overgrown grassy berm or a footbridge to connect the path in the reserve back to Highsted Rd would solve this. A solution is urgently required.
