Roads - General
Reported Wednesday, 11 February 2026 at 8:16 pm, 1457 Western Valley Rd, Canterbury, Diamond Harbour 8972, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
This back continues to collapse and erode. This was reported a couple of years ago, it was dug out by loggers using the road and never properly retained. It will just keep eroding if it's left as is, which will cause significant damage to the trees and property above.
