Wastewater/Stormwater
Reported Friday, 3 July 2015 at 10:15 am, 205–237, New Brighton Road, Burwood, 8061, Canterbury.
The reporter’s words
The sandbags have rotted and disintegrated causing the content to spill out. The river here frequently flows above road level. Should there be an occasion where the river runs fast as in times of heavy rain there is nothing to stop the sand being washed away an thus causing extensive flooding of New Brighton road and surrounding land.
