Flooding
Reported Monday, 23 February 2026 at 1:59 pm, 1 Steve Askin Dr, Canterbury, Christchurch 8022, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Finally catchment is draining of water - the grass clippings you leave from the council mowing along with the ground itself, is now brown and rotting from the water being left too long The entire neighbourhood stinks of wet rotting grass What are you going to do to fix this? the smell is putrid, we can’t let our pets outside. Windows are shut. We paid a premium land price here and it was never this poorly managed when CCL had control of the catchments It stinks and residents are unhappy
