Park - General Request
Reported Monday, 2 March 2026 at 6:21 pm, Canterbury, Christchurch 8011, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Unlawful Path Closure - Hagley Park The shared path between the Salisbury St bridge and the toilet block remains blocked off by fencing AFTER the time specified on closure notices for it to be reopened. This is the 3rd year Electric Avenue have left paths blocked after their designated reopening time. And the last 2 years Council appear to have done nothing, so how about actually DOING YOUR JOBS: getting down to Hagley Park & getting Electric Avenue organisers to comply with their obligations!
